Richland - Gerry passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Richland. Gerry was born October 10, 1944 in Lawton, MI to Robert and Donna (Willmarth) Goodrich. She enjoyed entertaining, traveling, cooking, shopping, decorating, going on cruises, tanning and dancing. On August 10, 1991 in Kalamazoo she married Edward Sass III who survives. Also surviving are her children, Kim (Paul) Bloss of Allegan and Amy Zeran of Allegan, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Larry (Kathleen) Goodrich of TX, Steve (Ardith) Goodrich of Otsego and Naomi (Charles) Wright of Otsego; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Robert, Kathryn, Jesse, Faith, and her son Karl Ferris III. Friends may meet with Gerry’s family from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego where a Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with her brother Larry Goodrich officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland. Contributions in memory of Gerry may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Shriners.
